The Port Authority is increasing its airports' customer care representatives staff by more than 50 percent, creating new welcome centers for arriving passengers, providing electronic airport information alerts, adding new seats and opening nearly 70 new and upgraded food, beverage and retail outlets at John F. Kennedy International, Newark Liberty International and LaGuardia airports. |

At Newark Liberty, Continental added Tucson, Cozumel, Mexico and Athens, Greece to its portfolio of nonstop routes, US Airways added Phoenix and Las Vegas, Jet Airways will start service to Bombay, India in August and Qatar is scheduled to start flying to Doha, Qatar in this month. At JFK, Cayman Airways now flies to Grand Cayman Island, LAN flies to Santiago, Chile, JetBlue goes to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and Delta started service to Montego Bay, Jamaica and Pisa, Italy. |

| Amenities | New Cell Phone Lot at JFK
The Cell Phone Lot provides a convenient place for drivers to wait while their arriving passengers disembark from the aircraft, collect their baggage and make their way to the exit. This new lot, with more than seventy spaces, is located near the airport's entrance - just off the Van Wyck Expressway. All the terminals can be reached from this lot in less than 5 minutes! This new Cell Phone Lot also helps keep traffic on the airport moving smoothly. |
